Day 30: Last Day of the Remix! Primary Colors, Take 2

I am so happy that today is the last day of the remix.  Now, I can put the neglected rest of my closet to work. Even though I'm looking forward to wearing something new tomorrow,  this remix has been a great introduction to blogging.
 
Doing the remix was a  super opportunity to meet other bloggers.  Being on  Kendi's Remixer List sent a lot of traffic my way and challenged me to start posting a daily outfit.  It also gave me a long, long list of wonderful bloggers to get to know. 

It's been such a revelation to carry this out to completion.  I've learned how few items I actually need.  I've learned it's best to have a few versatile items instead of a packed closet.  I've learned new ways to wear what I have and interesting ways to wear accessories.  And one of the best things to come out of it is meeting so many like-minded bloggers. 

So on to Day 30, Primary Colors, Take 2:

Here's a big thumbs up to all of us who made it through!  With the remix behind us it feels like a fresh start, especially for me since I think of goals in terms of birthdays.  Today is my first day of being 51.  Last year brought a lot of changes, not all of them good.  No one knows what this year will bring, but if I have the opportunity there are a few things I would like to accomplish this year.  I'd like to learn as much as I can to improve my blog and pick up new followers (hopefully)!  I would like to take my oldest son's advice and simplify my life which would include my home and my routines.  I would like this to be the year I finally get back down to my goal weight and get regular about exercising.  Lastly, as always, I want to have more fun times with my family and friends.  Relationships are a big part of what we're here for.  So all that being said, this is what I wore today:
