Day 20: Surrounded by my Favorite Things

Reading is my favorite thing to do in the whole world.  I love books...the way they look, and feel and smell.  There's nothing like walking into a library or a bookstore and browsing the racks until you find a new world to fall into.  This morning I snapped my Day 20 of the remix photos beside one of my bookshelves.
Now let me be a librarian and make some recommendations.  I enjoy short stories because if you have a little break in your day you can fit one in and visit another world for a time.  If you would like to get inside people's heads and hear what they are thinking, try some stories by Katherine Mansfield.  For the grown-up version of, "The Clique", try Edith Wharton for her tales of the idle rich.  P.G. Wodehouse was a writer of hilarious British humor.  Dorothy Parker was funny, insightful  and had a biting wit.  Charlotte Perkins Gilman wrote stories with a feminist twist.  Read Herland to see what I mean.  Agatha Christie has tons of good short stories, including but not limited to the Miss Marple stories.  So those are my picks or go and discover your own!
