Day 14: Gray, Brown and a Strange Necklace

It was beautiful this morning with sunshine and a not so chilly breeze.  It definitely makes the whole picture taking process more enjoyable.  Today ends the first two weeks of the Remix, so I thought I'd take a minute to see where I'm at.  I FINALLY made it through ALL of my items once, so now the real remixing begins.  I did LOSE one stone colored khaki skirt due to a big, unrepairable rip up the back split. Which makes me sad because a khaki skirt is a perfect basic as far as I am concerned.  Today, I paired gray and brown together, a first for me.  I own three statement necklaces, all in need of some sort of repair so today I repurposed the belt from Day 7 into a statement necklace for Day 14.  Here's how it went:
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

What I Wore Today:
Brown Van Heusen shirt, Outlet Mall
Brown LIZ BAKER cardigan, Gifted
Gray Jeans, Faded Glory, Walmart
Brown Suede UGGS, B&H Shoes
Butterfly Belt worn as necklace, Thrifted

This is a cute one! I have the same issue with brown and black.

Thanks! I have been trying to do black and brown, too. Looking at everyone's use of color is showing me there ARE no rules.

I so love that you used a belt as a necklace. What a super cute idea.
