Day 24: Orange and Violet

I thought I had covered every combination in my closet, especially with this orange cardigan, but I realized I had yet to pair the orange cardigan with the brown button down shirt.  I wanted to add violet to the orange because that's one of the combinations I've seen pictured for spring, so I rounded up this violet checked scarf and it went like this:
Today I went through my forgotten clothes that aren't seeing any wear because they aren't in my 30 picks for the remix.  By the time I pulled out everything that fits for spring, I had quite the garment rack full.  After getting used to wearing only 30 items, it seems almost too much, too many decisions and combinations to pick from.  It's like when you go into a store to buy toothpaste and there's like fifty (no lie) different kinds to pick from: whitening to breath freshening to mint to extreme mint to mint explosion...well, you get the picture. It was a lot simpler to buy toothpaste when there weren't so many to pick from. I'm wondering if it will be the same with my closet this spring?  I know I'll be thrilled to wear something different, but I am thinking of keeping my numbers lower instead of stuffing everything back in my closet when the remix is over.  So, what do you guys think you'll do?  Has the remix changed how you think about your closet?

Orange cardigan, LIZ BAKER, Gifted
Brown shirt, Van Heusen, Outlet Mall

I love the bright orange cardigan, great color! I feel the same way, I am very scared to go back to an entire closet. I am also scared for that first trip back to the mall!
