Fashion Beauty Friend Friday: Shoes, Shoes, Shoes!

Fashion Beauty Friend Friday is all about shoes this week.  Katy Rose, as Queen of Fashion Beauty Friend Friday, comes up with the questions and we, her loyal followers, answer them each week.  If you'd like to be a part of the royal court just click on the link.

1.What is your go-to pair of shoes?   In the winter, I love a pair of boots that have a nice cozy lining so I can skip the socks.  For a rainy day, I like bright rain boots in colors that pop.  In summer, nothing beats the ease of a pair of flip-flops.  For dress-up, I like a pair of flats in silver because they're a fun neutral that go with most everything.

2. What goes into your shoe buying decisions?  Comfort is first, actually.  Price, of course.  I've got to love the style.  Color is important.  I am wishing for shoes in colors in every color like in the 80's.

3. The majority of the shoes in your closet are what color? Neutrals.  I have black, brown, beige and white.  I have silver and gold which I think of as perfect neutrals.  I even consider animal prints neutrals and I have a zebra pair.

4. When it comes to design shoes what are your favorite brands and why? I'm more into personal style than brands.  I just like good design.  My favorite style right now is platform wedges.  They're so cute and they remind me of the platforms I used to wear in the 70's.  I haven't bought a pair yet, but I will share a picture of what I lovingly refer to as my "Judy Jetson" shoes.

 5. If price wasn’t an issue, you’d own which shoe?  The styles this spring are flamboyantly over the top. If price isn't an issue, then in my dream world comfort isn't an issue either, so I'll take a pair of ornately embellished platform wedges.  I don't own these yet, so sadly there is no picture...

Do you know what time it is?  It's time to buy shoes!

I also think of metallic shoes as neutrals. I don't know why, it just seems so logical to me. Also, I love your rain boots :)

The red & zebra styles are my favourite actually. These look incredibly comfortable as well. These would be my packable flats I'd take in my stylish carry-all! lol

I love metallic shoes, have a bunch but my friend at work always makes fun of me for them - she calls them all old lady shoes! If It were totally up to me I'd live in flip flops :-)

Hi Debbie, those flowered wellies, too cute. I'm a festival visitor and these would fit in nicely.
