Sunday Inspiration: Window Shopping

The State Governor's Cup Academic Competition is going on this weekend.  Quick Recall rounds start later on this afternoon, but this morning afforded a lazy meander downtown.  The shops were closed but the windows were full of inspiration in the form of hats.
These two looks have such a vintage feel and they're so colorful and cozy looking.
I love this soft shade of green.  Wouldn't this be a perfect spring look?
Don't you love the texture on this hat?  The Cream color is a favorite of mine.  This one also has a vintage vibe.  I wish the shop were open!
I saved my favorite for last.  Who knew a bucket hat could look so glamorous?  Note the non-matching scarf and the pin detail.  A vintage pin would be a good look here.

And now what I wore for my window shopping outing:
I pulled the scarf through the keyhole on the top and then knotted it three times.

No shopping outing would be complete without a nice lunch out.
What I Wore Today:
Brown knit top, Goodwill, $2.50
Camo scarf, rue21,  $6.99
Camo skirt, Walmart, $15
Brown cardigan, Gifted
Brown tights, Burke's Outlet, $3
Brown boots, B&H Shoes, $24

Total For Today:  $51.49

Thanks! They've won their first two games and are off to a victory supper. They play again in the morning.

Do you wear hats yourself? I'm a new reader and haven't yet seen you in one.

Hi Debbie! How was the competition? All the hats look beautiful, especially the bucket hat. I love your outfit; the scarf is nice. Where did you get it?

Larissa, Our high school team made it to the top sixteen teams in the state before they lost! We were very proud. Thank you for asking. Debbie
