What a Difference a New Camera Makes!

As I told you earlier, my  birthday was this past weekend.  My husband, who doesn't think it's weird that his wife recently started photographing her daily outfits and posting them on a blog for the world to see, presented me with an awesome new camera.  Today the new camera went out for it's first daily outfit shoot.  Even in the automatic setting the photos have turned out so much better than before.
Today I went with black and white with shots of bright colors in the belt and shoes. The belt came from an online sample sale for hayden-harnett.  Toni Hacker Harnett is the Partner/Creative Director for hayden-harnett and she grew up in the same small town in Kentucky where I live.  It's always cool when a local girl makes good!  Check out her collection here.
Here is a close-up of the belt, bright circles on a clear background.
These zebra print shoes were just waiting for the remix to finish up so they could see the light of day.
My old camera couldn't get details like this.  I will probably go around shooting close-ups of everything in sight.  I have already promised the cat a sitting.
Tomorrow I am going to start nagging the kids to let me do close-ups of them!  Husband...you don't know what you've started!

What I Wore Today:
Black and white peasant top, Goodwill, $2.50
Black skirt, Goodwill, $3
Zebra print shoes, Shoe Show, $10
Bright colors necklace, Gifted
Bright colors belt, hayden-harnett online sample sale, $5*

Total For Today:  $18.50
*Some items I've owned for a while and I estimate their cost to the best of my memory
