Day 13: Orange and Black, Take 2

Today is our Valentine Banquet at church and as usual, I had zero foresight when picking out my 30 items of clothing for the remix.  However, if we could celebrate Halloween in the next few days...well, I've got that covered.  Here is Day 13:  Orange and Black, Take 2:
You can kind of see in the picture above that I am wearing a sweater guard clip.  This one is made of mink and pearls and I bought it at a yardsale for a buck.  Sweater guards were popular in the 1950's.  If you are unable to find one at a thrift store, you can find them new online.

The pin I am wearing came with this purse.  I always kid my mom that she sleeps with her purse on her arm because she's ready for a shopping trip at the drop of a hat...(so am I).
I don't know what I'm doing with my hands here.  It's hard to figure out how to pose so I was trying to branch out.  I tend to do the same poses over and over.  It sort of feels like being a plus size Sears Catalog model.

What I Wore Today:
Orange LIZ BAKER twinset, Gifted
Black CRICKET LANE straight skirt, Thrifted
Leopard Purse and Pin, Catos
Pearl and Black Bead necklace, Gifted
Mink and Pearl Sweater Guard Clip, Thrifted
Pearl Earrings, Gifted
Leopard Gloves, Gifted
Black tights, Walmart
Black patent UGGS, B&H Shoes

Day 10: Military, Camo, Leopard and Lace

I have never entered an outfit on another blog, but I think I might have a chance to link to the rules are lame contest on the blog I'm clothed much.  I kind of added a lot of random things together today.  I started with the military vest and paired it with the camo skirt.  Then I wound the camo and lace scarves together and knotted the ends.  I decided I'd like to shoot outdoors again (brrrr), so I added the leopard gloves and hat.  It ended up looking like this.

When you wear an outfit that's a little out of your comfort zone, do people stare or do you just think they do?  I guess that's one of those "chicken or the egg" questions.
